Like Denene, I just discovered your blogs this date, and I'm leaving a comment... I've had the same discussion with my brother, an SEO salesguy, about integrating the personal and professional in social media and networking. But you captured it so much more eloquently! We might find it "easier to say" if there are no drunk-frat-party pictures of us floating around - but honestly, if I'm proud of who I am, I should be comfortable sharing that with friends and clients alike. And as you state, there are benefits to the transparency! Thanks for this, and for the rest that I'm about to read.

Kivi, what a great post. I just discovered your blogs today and already can't wait to dive in and read more. These are all excellent points and are a huge help to me as I'm trying to better integrate my life. I am a writer -- it's my work and my passion and I don't want to cut that part of who I am out of my "personal" life!

Hope to see more posts soon (hint)! :-)
